The Coca-Cola Bottling Company Consolidated (CCBCC) expanded in to approximately 23,000 RSF in a former basement storage space in the SouthPark area of Charlotte. The focus of this project was to implement an open area work concept (new for their company) and infuse their company identity and branding as much as possible for a space that was youthful and unmistakably Coca-Cola. Although the lower basement ceiling height was a challenge, the ceiling was kept open and we added new energy efficient LED lighting throughout to brighten the space and create the illusion of as much ceiling height as possible. Through the architectural finishes and wall graphics, we incorporated the corporate identity and product portfolio that is so important to this company and their employees. We continued to work with CCBCC throughout the next 2 years to implement these new standards and designs at (4) other corporate office locations in Charlotte, NC for a cohesive company identity.
